"I'll try anything once, twice if I like it, three times to make sure." - Mae West
A wonderful way to add personal flair to an occasion is
by showcasing a signature cocktail. The blend being served should be based on
the guest(s) of honour, type of event, and time of the season. And since
drinking out of a martini glass has a certain "je ne sais quoi" about
it, we'd like to share some of our fave autumn-inspired mixtures.
Apple Tart-tini
- 2 oz. citrus vodka
- 1/2 oz. DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
- 1/2 oz. Cointreau orange liqueur
- 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake well with ice.
Strain into a martini glass and garnish with an apple slice.
Banana Bread-ini
- 1 oz. Frangelico liqueur
- 1/2 oz. banana liqueur
- 1 oz. biscotti liqueur
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 banana sprinkled with cinnamon
Combine all ingredients except the banana in a shaker. Shake well.
Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with 1/2 banana sprinkled with cinnamon.
Pumpkin Pie-tini
- 1/2 oz. Sylk Cream Liqueur
- 2 oz. vanilla vodka
- 1/2 oz. pumpkin liqueur or pumpkin spice syrup
- 1 tsp. whipped cream
- A cinnamon stick
Pour the Sylk Liqueur and vodka into a shaker and shake
well with ice. Add the pumpkin liqueur or syrup and shake again. Strain into a
martini glass. Top with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon stick.
Hope you enjoy these sweet sips.
Until next time,
A & S
