Always a Bridesmaid...

"What color is that - vomit?" - 27 Dresses

When asked to be a bridesmaid it is always daunting to realize someone else will be choosing your dress for the evening.  At anyone’s wedding you want to dress to impress and when you are forced to squeeze into an unfaltering, bright coloured satin dress, it is often hard to feel and look your best.  For those of you in the process of selecting bridesmaids dresses for your girls, be kind. You want your pictures to be beautiful and you don’t want your friends to resent you for your dress choice. It is important to be mindful of the cost of these dresses since your wedding is likely to cost your bridesmaids a pretty penny and you should also try to be cautious of different body types and shapes.  If you are a bridesmaid, it is wise to keep your eye out for great dresses to help the bride-to-be with her selection.

I have always been a big fan of J Crew but when they launched their wedding line, I definitely stopped to look twice.  They have a wide range of bridesmaid’s dresses and each dress comes in many colours.  Take a look at their website and see a few of my favourites below;

Bow monde dress in silk taffeta - $92.99

Arabelle long dress in silk chiffon - $161.99

Arabelle dress in silk chiffon - $80.99

Adrienne dress in silk taffeta - $270.00

I’m sure your friends and their wallets will thank you.

Yours truly,

A
