Mad Hatter's Tea Party

"Of all the silly nonsense, this is the stupidest tea party I've ever been to in all my life." Alice, Alice in Wonderland

Tea parties are popular afternoon bridal shower themes and we just adore any party involving vintage tea cups and bite size treats.  Consider making your next tea party an ode to Alice in Wonderland and let your whimsical creativity take control.  A Mad Hatter's theme can involve many fun and interesting twists to the standard tea party.  Try asking your guests to wear bright and playful hats, present the bride with her requested tea set as a gift, use playing cards as your table cards and labels, make the bride the 'Queen of Hearts' for the day and moreover let the topsy-turvy, zany ideas run wild.

Below are some stunning and inspirational 'Alice' themed ideas for your next event:

Faith, Love, and Pixie Dust

“A dream is a wish your heart makes.” – Cinderella

There comes a point in every girl’s life where she is affected by a Disney princess.  Long after we grow up, we continue our love for those heroines who helped shape our childhood.  Snow White first entered the world in 1937 and is still touching girls’ hearts today.  I think every girl has dreamed of their ‘happily ever after’ or ‘prince charming’ and had fantasies of whimsical romance and magic.

Alfred Angelo has created a line of Disney inspired wedding gowns so every bride can emulate her favourite princess on her wedding day.  Disney also offers wedding planners, florists and registries so you can plan your ‘ball’ at Cinderella’s Castle or the Enchanted Forest on their grounds from miles away.  They seem to have thought of it all! Any girl out there who has always dreamed of her fairytale wedding (yes T, I’m talking to you!!) can now plan it with ease and incorporate all the ‘fairy dust’ and ‘sparkle’ they want.  The hardest part will be finding a leading man to go along for the ride.
