Tutus and Tiaras

This week I am proud to welcome the newest member of my (almost) family, Sydney Alex, to the world.  This little girl entered our lives on February 1st with a full head of hair and big, blue eyes.  She is absolutely gorgeous and I feel so lucky to have a niece.

With Sydney's arrival, I started daydreaming about flower girls' dresses.  Although Sydney will be too young to be our official flower girl, we cannot wait to have her as part of our big day.  Flower girls are typically chosen from the bride and groom's extended family and are bound to cause many 'ooohs' and 'ahhhs' in their party dresses.  I just love watching little girls in tutus and taffeta strut (or stumble) down the aisle with rose petals and precious smiles.

After some perusing, I have found some stunning party dresses for babies, toddlers and little girls for the big day.  I found myself wishing some of them came in my size!

Little girls are too cute for words and I am so excited that Mr. X and I have a niece to spoil!
